BMMRO hires Education Officer - Kendria Ferguson

In February BMMRO welcomed a new employee, Ms Kendria Ferguson from Nassau. Kendria first began working with BMMRO as a volunteer and marine mammal student conducting an internship in 2008. She graduated from Barry University, Miami, in 2010 with top marks and it is satisfying for BMMRO to now be able to offer her a paid position back in the Bahamas.

In her first few weeks, Kendria has visited J A Pinder school in Sandy Point three times, educating them with regard to marine mammals in the Bahamas, and the role of BMMRO.

She has also taught at Cherokee school, and has plans to return to Cherokee and visit the rest of the schools in Abaco over the next few months.
